Who can play

Boys and girls aged 4 to 16. Reception and Year 1 start at Mini Sparks; from Year 2 children play league football with an age-group team.

Grayshott FC is a grassroots youth football club based in the village of Grayshott. We field numerous teams from Under 7s through to Under 16s, all playing in the North East Hants Youth League (NEHYL), and we welcome players of every ability. We also run the Mini Sparks program for the little ballers in reception and year 1 every Saturday (New Season begins 5th Sept 2026) on match days so the mini sparks truly feel part of the club.

Youth football in Grayshott, Haslemere & Hindhead

Grayshott FC is the village's own youth football club. We train and play at Grayshott Recreational Ground on Beech Hanger Road, right on the Surrey and Hampshire border, so families from Grayshott, Hindhead, Headley, Headley Down, Beacon Hill, Churt, Haslemere, Fernhurst, Liphook, Lindford and Bordon can all get to us in a few minutes.

Children start with Mini Sparks in Reception and Year 1, a relaxed Saturday-morning session for four and five year olds. From Year 2 upwards they join an age-group team playing competitive league football in the North East Hants Youth League, moving from small-sided mini-soccer through 9-a-side to full 11-a-side by the older age groups.

Every team is run by volunteer parents and coaches, and every squad welcomes beginners as well as children who have played before. Boys and girls are welcome throughout the club. There are no trials to pass to get started — if there's space in the age group, come along, meet the manager and see whether it suits your child.
