About Grayshott FC

A volunteer-run grassroots youth football club at Grayshott Recreational Ground, established circa 1919.

Grayshott Football Club has been at the heart of village life for generations. We run youth teams from U7 to U16, train year-round and play our league football in the North East Hants Youth League (NEHYL). Volunteers run everything — coaches, managers, the committee, matchday parents. If you'd like to get involved, please get in touch.

Who plays here

A village club, an area-wide family

Home is Grayshott Recreational Ground on Beech Hanger Road in the centre of Grayshott, right on the Surrey and Hampshire border. Most of our players walk or travel a few minutes from Grayshott, Hindhead, Headley Down, Beacon Hill and Churt, and we regularly welcome families from Haslemere, Liphook, Lindford, Fernhurst and Bordon. Teams run from Mini Sparks at ages 4 and 5 all the way to U16, and all of them play in the North East Hants Youth League (NEHYL).

Everyone involved is a volunteer — managers, coaches, the committee and the parents who run the line. That is what keeps grassroots football affordable and why we take new players from any background or ability. If you would like your child to play, here is how joining works.

FA-affiliated

Safer, fairer football

We are affiliated to Hampshire FA and run under FA rules and policies. All managers and coaches are DBS-checked and complete FA safeguarding training, and the club has a designated safeguarding officer on the committee. Our full set of policies and codes of conduct is published in the FA Documents section, and you can meet the people who run the club on our officials page.
