Grassroots football returns…

We are very happy to confirm after the lifting of lockdown #2 in England and the re-introduction of tier systems, grassroots football can re-start from today! Please find details of the revised guidelines from the FA here. Revised guidelines based around the Tier alert levels for your area can also be found here.

The FA and associated leagues have been working hard to re-schedule matches and some of our teams will begin playing again from this coming weekend. Our club has carried out detailed risk assessments and all coaches and committee members have access to all these documents which they will be very happy to provide in full, upon request. However, we would like to highlight the main measures in place at Grayshott Youth Football Club for both training sessions and matches here.

All measures put in place follow guidelines we have been given and primarily are to protect all players, coaches, parents & guardians, members, spectators and visitors to keep them as safe as possible. We kindly ask for everyone’s support in helping us all adhere to these measures which will also help to ensure football can continue for as long as possible. Other clubs may have slightly different measures in place specific to their venue and we ask that these are also respectfully followed.

Thank you for your continued support and let’s hope football can continue for the rest of the season with minimal further disruption!
